August 1st - 5th, 2026

Water Street Dance Festival is a week-long event for aspiring professional dancers to both train and make personal connections with working artists & Artistic Directors. Festival attendees will have the opportunity to take classes, audition for companies/projects, and experience the finest contemporary dance the Midwest has to offer!

Each day of classes includes Warm-up, Ballet, 2 Contemporary genres (Fusion, Improv & more), and a choreographic creative process. The week will begin with a chance to see Water Street Dance Milwaukee perform and conclude with the chance to audition for companies and projects.

Water Street Dance Festival serves as the audition for both Water Street Dance Milwaukee & Water Street Youth co. along with many other companies. Dancers must attend Water Street Dance Festival to be considered for these positions.
